It was the AE single-lens-reflex(SLR) camera for the 35mm-film put on the market from 1976 to the 1980's by Canon. The advanced A-series with the computerization made possible to use the SLR camera for anyone. The A-series accepts any lens with the Canon FD breech lock mount or Canon New FD pseudo-bayonet mount. Common problem of A-series That is the condition called "Shutter squeak" or "Shutter squeal". Here are two shutter sounds that before and after repair of my camera(A-1). Squeaky shutter sound (before repair) Correct shutter sound (after repair) This is a common problem of A-series and this is the start it thought that I intended to write this page. The A-series was the products which was a great success worldwide and very much number was sold. There must be many people using this camera carefully even at present. So, there may be many users worried to shutter squeak, too. But you also may be worried to the bill of repair. So, I show how to repair a squeal shutter safely as easily as possible.
